Read MoreWelcome to the Outpost, today I’m taking a look at a a cool original G.I.Joe vehicle. The 1982 Flak Cannon. This is a cool vehicle and even though it is a stationary vehicle this is one that packs a big punch. I did have one of these as a kid and I loved it back then as much as I do now. Simple but effective this is one to have to defend the Joe base or ground vehicles. Strangely enough this is one Cobra used in the first season of…
Read MoreReview by @skinnyjoefan Snake Eyes G.I. Joe Origins. First off let me preface this by saying and those of you who know me know this.I live and breathe G.I.Joe every single day and have since pretty much 1982. I have read and re-read the comics and even formed several theories about them. The first and most foremost thing about Snake Eyes is that he IS the central character in the Hama universe. All the other characters revolve around him. If you build a chart with Snake Eyes in the middle circle…

Read MoreWelcome to the Outpost. Today I’m looking at the 1984 G.I.Joe Slugger. This is an iconic vehicle and was used frequently in the early cartoon. Read MoreWelcome to the Outpost. Today I’m looking at a 1984 G.I.Joe character that came on stage took the show and never looked back, ‘Storm Shadow‘. Storm Shadow is one of those characters who was created and the stories and history exploded around him. I’m not sure if the creators had any idea of what they wanted to do as far as the grand scheme or if they were just creating a really cool looking ninja. Storm Shadow has been a staple character in the cartoon, comics, and live action movies.…
