THE POP EXPOSE Netflix’s ‘Apache Warrior’ By Mitchell Smith!

Apache Warrior is a 2017 Netflix documentary about the 2003 Apache mission into Baghdad. This was a wild show going into the Apache helicopter and following them on their mission. To start out the Apache is one badass helicopter. This show talks to the men and women who trained to be pilots and follows their mission into Baghdad to give air support to a team on the ground. I guess I never realized how intense the helicopter missions are. I always thought the jets did all the air strikes, but this gave me…

THE POP EXPOSE Netflix Series ‘The Mind, Explained’ By Mitchell Smith!

The Mind, Explained (Netflix series) The human body and the human brain have always intrigued me. Not sure if it makes me simple or complex, but all the functions of our body that make it work fascinates me. Recently though I watched the Netflix series “The Mind, Explained“, and it made me even more intrigued about the human brain and how it works. We all have the same basic make up but different parts of everyone’s brain may or may not work the same which is probably why we as…

Get The Skinny On ‘The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance’!

This saga is dark. Very dark. Like Power Rangers fan fiction by James Van Der Beek dark. However if you have seen the original movie, you know from the beginning that this is not going to end well for the Gelflings. What this series does show is the true nature of the Skeksis. They are arrogant, power hungry aliens from another world who have lied to and hoodwinked everyone on Thra including the Great Aughra. It is her mistake of letting the Skeksis be the guardians of the crystal so…

THE POP-EXPOSE ‘Stranger Things 3’ by Mitchell Smith!

I was able to watch Season 3 of Stranger Things this weekend. I was not disappointed. The first couple of episodes were a little bit slow for me, but once I got past those it was rolling and riveting. In my opinion it was filled with 80’s references, Sci-Fi nostalgia, and filled with a lot of emotion that brought me back to my childhood and growing up in the 80’s.  I enjoyed the story and the acting, all round I thought it was suspenseful and really moved me with the…

Get the skinny On ‘Love Death and Robots’!

Take yourself back to the nineties when MTV had a little show called “Liquid Television.” It showcased animated shorts and a series or two, most notably “Aeon Flux.” I had a definite “Heavy Metal” vibe as I was watching. Heavy Metal was a series of animated features all in one long movie. Each story was connected to a mysterious orb. I felt a similarity mainly based on the styles and content. Fast forward now to the present, thirty some years later and Netflix has adopted the format of cramming several…
