Welcome to Hondo’s Hideout. Today I’m taking a look at a Star Wars droid that came along well after the original films. As we all know C-3PO and R2D2 were instant fan favorites when they showed up in the opening scene in 1977. Since then there have been tons of memorable droids through out the movies and shows. Kenny Baker, known for his role as the lovable android ‘R2D2‘ in the Star Wars films, has passed away today at the age of 83.
