THE POP EXPOSE – ‘Ariana Grande’ By Mitchell Smith!
Happy Sunday everyone. I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Today I’m getting into one of the top pop artists of this past era, Ariana Grande. Ariana Grande was born June 26th 1993. Grande started out doing local plays but her big break came when she landed the roll of Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon hit show Victorious. She also had a spin off show called Sam and Cat where here and Icarly star Sam lived together. The show didn’t last long but Grande’s music career took off like a sling shot. She has had several albums with top Billboard singles over the past decade. Grande has had some heartache in her life.
Her parents divorced when she was 9 and her stage was bombed in 2017 while performing in Manchester. I remember her most by watching her on Sam and Cat. I thought she was entertaining. I was watching some videos of her recently and she is a funny person. Over all I just gathered she was a down to earth person and not star struck. She seemed to be genuine in all the videos I watched. She just seems like she is a person you could just chill with and be comfortable around. She sang the National Anthem at age 8 for the Florida Panthers and knocked it out of the park. She has also covered artists such as, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Celine Dion. She really has a set of pipes on her and I like when she covers people like these 3 and really shows her range hi and just how good she is. As a young actress/singer I’m interested in following her career and see where she takes it from her.
