Star Wars Rebels

So far I haven’t seen much wrong with the new Rebels series. They have created some nice new characters, a good story line, and some nice back stories on the characters. We know there has been much skepticism on creating characters such as Jar Jar (Which my 7 year old really does like). They seem to have a grasp on long time fans and getting new fans involved.

I’m sure most of you know when Star Wars debuted, just a week after my wife was born back in 1977. Over the years its been a down hill ride with great characters and story lines. Although there were some flaws and disappointment in the second trilogy, I personally liked what they had done for the most part, since then many off shoots have come about and many more are anticipated. Star Wars Unleashed was great and the story was deep and you got to interact with the video game. I had a bit of a hard time myself keeping interested in the Clone Wars, but never the less a great bit of good work for any Star Wars fan. I have really enjoyed the Rebels so far, things have been kept somewhat simple and not over analyzed on how to make it better then the last. Thus far I have been captivated and look forward to watching the next episode and picking up the new action figures as well. My love is etched deep on the original trilogy, but I am looking forward to this Rebel series and to the many more to come.

I hope this is a preview of what we can expect in the future in ever growing world of Star Wars. Keep on expanding because the possibilities are endless.
