THE POP EXPOSE FEATURING ‘INDIANA JONES’!

Story by Mitchell Smith

Well hello everyone. Today I’m taking a look at the Indiana Jones franchise. This started out as an awesome eighties film that turned into a trilogy. Unfortunately I had a limited amount of channels growing up and going to the theater was not something easily done when I was younger. I knew all about the franchise through clips on TV. It wasn’t till my late twenties that I bought the movies on DVD and the books to go along with them.

When the Kingdom of the Chrystal Skull hit I grabbed a couple figures and my Walmart clearanced everything so I ended up with a few things that were cool. Somewhere around 2011 I had a chance to visit Disney and watch the Indiana Jones live act. It was really cool. Of course this year we have the new IJ movie Dial of Destiny just around the corner. Hasbro tapped into the vintage figures along with 6 inch figure line.

I dressed up as Indian Jones one year for Halloween. Over the years I’m sure there have been millions of hats and whips purchased. The preview for the new movie looks really good. I know some of the die hard fans didn’t like Kingdom, but I thought it was pretty good and Dial of Destiny looks even better. I hope this one succeeds at the box office and we get a second trilogy, so Indiana Jones can ride off into the sunset. Are you a big fan of the Indiana Jones Franchise?
