THE POP EXPOSE – ‘Marilyn Monroe’ Story by Mitchell Smith!

Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s Pop Expose. Marilyn Monroe born Norma Jeane Mortenson June 1st 1926 in LA, was the biggest star in the fifties. Monroe who started out modeling then went into acting became the icon she was through hard work, but she also had a natural glow that attracted people to her. In the forefront she was Americas pin up. She had charm, beauty, and talent. She also had a dark past and a dark side the public did not see.

Monroe grew up being passed around to different foster homes and orphanages. She knew her mother but she was in a psychiatric hospital for most of Monroe’s life. Marilyn had many friends but like most stars at the very top, she lived much of her adult life alone. She married all time New York Yankee great Joe DiMaggio but quickly divorced as Monroe had little time to settle down and was always working and traveling. She started hanging out with the Kennedy’s a lot and many speculated sexual relations between them. Times were at an all time high with nuclear threats and tension between others countries.

Some people believe Monroe was too deep and knew way too much from the President and his brother Robert. As revealed in the recent Netflix documentary “The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes”, the conspiracy theory that Monroe was murdered has solid evidence that Monroe did not OD on purpose or accident, rather their was foul play do to the info she had received and did not agree with. Monroe wanted to be just a normal person, but it was way past that. She was a high profile person and now some 60 years from when she died she remains one of the top Hollywood icons of all time.
