THE POP EXPOSE – Marvel’s Secret Invasion Review!

Well hello everyone. Today I’m taking a look at the new Marvel series “Secret Invasion”. Sam Jackson is back in action as Nick Fury. Cobie Smulders, Ben Mendelsohn, and Martin Freeman all return for their Marvel rolls. Dermot Mulroney joins the cast as president Ritson, one of my favorite actors who was also part of Billy The Kids gang in Young Guns, Dirty Steve.

They also brought in Emilia Clarke, who was also in “Solo” and “Game of Thrones”, to play the main roll G’iah. I was able to watch the first episode and so far this looks pretty good. There is a lot of action, plot, and a few twists and turns. Could end up leading into one of the new movies in the works. Definitely worth checking out. Don’t always believe all the negative reviews, give it a watch for yourself and make up your own mind. Secret Invasion is led by Marvel Cinematic Universe mainstay Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury. He will team up with Captain Marvel‘s Ben Mendelsohn, who returns as the pseudo-leader of the Skrulls, Talos. This marks Nick Fury’s first solo project in the MCU after 15 years as the former SHIELD director.

Joining them are MCU newcomers Kingsley Ben-Adir as the antagonist Gravik, Oscar winner Olivia Colman as MI6 agent Sonya Falsworth, Emilia Clarke as Talos’ now-adult daughter G’iah, Dermot Mulrone, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, and Carmen Ejogo. It will also feature MCU vets Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, and Don Cheadle as Rhodey.
