THE POP EXPOSE – Remembering ZZ Top’s ‘Dusty Hill’ Story by Mitchell Smith!

Happy Sunday Morning Everyone. Today I’m paying my respects to a legend, a pioneer, and all around class act, ZZ Top’s, ‘Dusty Hill‘. Dusty Hill was born in 1949 in Dallas and passed away last week in Houston. Hill and his band mates Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard formed ZZ Top in 1969 and have played together right up to his recent passing. ZZ Top exploded in the eighties and Gibbons and Hill are one of the most recognizable people do to their long beards, but the band has a unique sound and they have been rocking the world for decades.

Netflix has a great documentary called “That little Ol’ band from Texas”. This really shows how close the band members were. I feel for the other band members and the families knowing how close they were. Hill will be missed but his dying wish according to Wikipedia was for the band to go on and perform without him and carry on the legacy of ZZ Top. RIP Dust Hill you will be missed.
