THE POP EXPOSE – ‘Senior Year’ starring Rebel Wilson!
Hello everyone. I had a chance to catch “Senior Year” over the weekend. This is a 2022 movie about a girl on the cheer squad who gets a concussion in 2002 and wakes up 20 years later in 2022. Not the best movie ever but entertaining to say the least.
The movie stars Rebel Wilson who plays the main character Stephanie Conway. Her body has aged but her brain is still a 17 year old girl, so she goes back to her high school to finish school and graduate. I thought it was a very interesting concept and showed how much things have changed in 20 years. Alicia Siverstone one of the top teen pop icons from the nineties and two thousands also has a scene. Over all this is a decent movie and has a great young cast. There are a couple messages in the movie and one I got was don’t blink, it seems like we were just talking about Y2K and here we are now 22 years later thinking where has the time gone. If you get a chance give this one a watch, it is a lot of fun! Have a great week everyone.
