THE POP EXPOSE – The ‘Judgement Night’ Movie Soundtrack!
Hello everybody, today I’m taking a look at one of my favorite soundtracks from The 1993 movie “Judgement Night”. The movie itself is great and captures the early nineties perfectly. It stars Emilio Estevez, Cuba Gooding Jr, and Denis Leary. A group of middle class guys take a shortcut and end up on the wrong side of Chicago. The movie is suspenseful and covers many issues for the times.
The soundtrack is great and I listen to it often in my car. There are so many great artists on this soundtrack. Ice Tea, Helmet, Pearl Jam, Sir-Mix-A-Lot, and Run D.M.C. to name a few. “Judgement Night”, “Just Another Victim”, and “Fallen’”, are a few of my favorites but the whole soundtrack is great. If you have never checked out either make sure you do. If you have checked it out, be sure and share your thoughts with us about the soundtrack in the player below! Have a great week everyone.
“Judgment Night” is a suspenseful and action-packed thriller directed by Stephen Hopkins and released in 1993. The film revolves around a group of four friends who find themselves in a nightmarish situation after taking a wrong turn in a rough, crime-ridden part of the city.
The story follows Frank (Emilio Estevez), Mike (Cuba Gooding Jr.), Ray (Jeremy Piven), and John (Stephen Dorff), who decide to attend a boxing match in Chicago. On their way to the event, they get stuck in heavy traffic and decide to take a shortcut suggested by John. Unbeknownst to them, this shortcut leads them into the heart of a dangerous neighborhood controlled by a vicious drug lord named Fallon (played by Denis Leary).
