Exploring the Nostalgic Charm of “Young Sheldon”: A Delightful Dive into Sheldon Cooper’s Quirky Childhood

Story By Mitchell Smith
Hello everybody today I’m taking a look at the series Young Sheldon. The series started in 2017 and explores the childhood of Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon who has a number of fears and idiosyncrasies that are down right funny at times takes us through his life and how he affects everyone around him. The time frame for the show lines right up with when entered high school. It’s a bit of a time capsule for me and I find I have some things in common with the character.
Young Sheldon and the rest of the cast show how it was growing up in the nineties. There is a hilarious cast from child actors Lain Armatage who playes Sheldon and his twin Missy played by Reagan Revord to veteran actors like Annie Potts who plays Sheldon’s beloved Meemaw to Wallace Shawn who plays Dr Sturgis. I have only watched the first 2 seasons and it has been a delight.
The only problem I have is every time I think I have Sheldon narrating my thoughts. Overall this is an enjoyable series and I wonder with the series wrapping up if there will be a new season of The Big Bang or some sort of spin off when Sheldon is now the father. Have a great week everybody.
