Happy 30th Anniversary to the OG G.I.Joe Cartoon Series!

Today marks the 30th Anniversary of the debut of the first G.I.Joe Cartoon Series which was September 16th, 1985. For many children and adults world wide this was the start of something very special that was a big part of their childhood’s. From memorable characters like Duke, Cobra Commander and Shipwreck, the G.I.Joe Cartoon Series touched not only the original generation it aired for but many generations to come, and is still beloved today.

Many do not realize that the regular TV run for G.I.Joe: A Real American Hero, started with the mini series titled, ‘The Pyramid of Darkness‘. Below we have a little synopsis of the story arc that started it all.
