The POP-EXPOSE

Remembering 80s Acting Legend Paul Reubens!

Paul Reubens “Pee-wee Herman” was born in 1952 in Peekskill, NY. Reuben struggled to find his niche in the comedy world until he created the quirky but lovable character Pee-wee Herman. 1985 was his big break when Pee-wee’s Big Adventure hit the big screen. Large Marge was a scary but lovable character along side Pee-wee.

Of course this movie lead to Pee-wee’s Playhouse a staple show in the late eighties. Over the years Reuben has had a roll on various tv shows such as Mork & Mindy, Everybody Loves Raymond, and most recent this year in an episode of Bob’s Burgers. Reuben also had his fair share of movie rolls such as Blues Brothers, Batman Returns, and Blow. Pee-wee was an interesting character and will never be duplicated.

Love him or hate him Reuben has left his mark on the world and will be remembered for generations to come. RIP Mr. Pee-wee Herman.
