RIP TV Legend Alan Thicke!
We have really sad news to report today that legendary TV Dad Alan Thicke has passed away. According to reports he died of a heart attack yesterday. If you were a child of the 1980’s you probably remember him for his most iconic roll as Dr. Jason Seaver on the sitcom ‘Growing Pains‘. What you might not know is that he also composed some of the most iconic sitcom theme songs such as the theme for ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ and ‘The Facts of Life’. Alan Thicke starred as Dr. Jason Seaver in the ABC series “Growing Pains,” which aired from 1985 until 1992. The Canadian-born actor had a prolific career, including cameos in recent years on the comedy “How I Met Your Mother” and the Netflix series “Fuller House.” He was also a frequent pitchman for ads on Sirius.
