G.I. Joe UNDERAPPRECIATED Featuring the ‘Swampmasher’!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at an underappreciated G.I. Joe vehicle the Swampmasher. The 1988 Swampmasher is an interesting vehicle. I did not have one of these as a kid so it wasn’t till around 2015 I discovered this vehicle. I’m not sure if it’s the color scheme or the design that turn people’s noses up at this one, but I personally like this one. Sure an olive green body with black tires may have made for a more realistic vehicle but I think the green…

G.I. JOE UNDERAPPRECIATED FEATURING ‘HEADMAN’!

Serpentorslair Staff, , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m continuing our series featuring underappreciated G.I. Joe figures. Today’s figure is Headman. I think he gets a bad wrap because he is a Drug Kingpin, but then again the whole Cobra organization is a terrorist group determined to rule the world. That aside this is a cool looking figure. He has a 1920’s gangster feel to him. I think he would look great with a Tommy gun. For a kid in the nineties I think I would have thought this kid was cool. For…

G.I. Joe UNDERAPPRECIATED FEATURING ‘TECHNO-VIPER’!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , 0 comment

Story by Mitchell Smith Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at one of my favorite G.I.Joe Cobra Vipers that seemed to not get enough love, Techno-Viper. The 1987 Techno Viper is one I got for Christmas that year. He reminded me of the Cylon from Battlestar Galactica, but maybe that was the inspiration for this Viper. This, in my opinion is a great figure. I’m not sure what it is about this figure that people don’t like. First off I love the color. These are not battle…
