G.I. Joe ‘Stalker’ Discussion By Mitchell Smith!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at one of the great original G.I.Joe Figures, ‘Stalker‘. Stalker is one of the original 1982 characters and has had several versions since then. I think one thing everyone will agree on is the Hasbro GI Joe team was awesome at creating a second version of a figure that rivaled the original. Stalker V2 is one of the many that is pure gold. I had V2 as a kid and this one is awesome head to toe and the kayak is…

Star Wars Vintage Ewok Village Discussion By Mitchell Smith!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , , 0 comment

Hello everyone. Today I am going to discuss one of my favorite playsets when I was sets growing up, the Star Wars Ewok Village. I was able to find one recently in good shape plus I still have one of the trees from my original set as a kid. Endor was a major part of the original trilogy and there have been a bunch of ROTJ figures, vehicles, and play sets over the years. I do have a bunch of figures such as Ewok’s, Endor soldiers, and too many Luke’s.…

G.I.Joe ‘Star Brigade Armor Tech’ Discussion By Mitchell Smith!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the G.I.Joe Star Brigade Armor Tech figures. The 1993 Robo Joe is an interesting looking figure. He was very boxy but had more articulation then the 1984 Deep Six figure. The Star Brigade line itself might be an acquired taste for many but I think they are pretty cool. I did not have these as a kid but I came across them as a collector more by chance then anything. Other figures in the Robo Joe box shape suit include…

G.I.Joe ‘Zanzibar’ With Air Skiff Discussion by Mitchell Smith!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the G.I.Joe Dreadnok Zanzibar and his Air Skiff. This is one I got for Christmas back in 1987 and the whole figure and vehicle are really cool. First you have Zanzibar that is a really cool looking figure. The outfit is unique and he featured a real pony tail. He is also a Dreadnok Then we get to his skiff which might not be the most safest design but what vehicle didn’t defy the laws of logic in the late…

G.I.Joe ‘Wild Bill’ Discussion by Mitchell Smith!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m looking at a very popular G.I.Joe character who has been a staple character in the cartoon, comics, and figure line. Wild Bill was first introduced in 1983 and came with an awesome vehicle the Dragonfly. Wild Bill had a unique look and came with his signature cavalry hat. Wild Bill was in many episodes and comics where he always came in to help try and save the day. There have been many versions of Wild Bill and I think every version other then the original came with a removable hat.…

G.I.Joe ‘Barbecue’ Discussion by Mitchell Smith!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , , , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at a great G.I.Joe character who was popular but kind of faded away. Barbecue is one of the awesome characters from the 1985 hey day. Growing up in a small town I knew lots of people that volunteered on the Fire department and eventually I would put in 5 years as a junior firefighter so it was cool to see Barbecue a part of the Joe team. I also had a 12 inch Firefighter Joe when I was young that was…
