Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m sticking with vehicles and checking out the 2005 G.I. Joe Moray Hydrofoil. This is the classic Cobra Moray with a new paint job for the G.I. Joe team. This comes with Night force Flint and Beachhead. Both of these figures are really cool figures and I had kit bashed them years ago, but recently I put them back together and realized just how cool they are. This was the first Moray I ever owned so this was very cool when I got it. I love the colors and the…

Today I’m diving into the 2014 G.I.Joe 50th Anniversary Battle Below Zero set that came with Cobra Wolf and Ghost Hawk. This is one I sprang for and I’m happy I did. The Wolf is what sold me on it but the Ghost Hawk is cool as well. This has a Snake Eyes that looked cool but after so many different Snake Eyes I wasn’t really interested in this figure, but the Ice Viper is really nice. This figure was very true to the original and both Ice Vipers are 2 of my favorite…

Today I want to discuss the 1989 G.I.Joe Deep Six. This is such a great figure. The colors and the removable helmet are just Awesome on this figure. I actually have several of this one and it is a great army building deep sea diver. Heads are easily swapped and the helmet fits perfectly with many other figures. The air pack with this figure has a lot of detail and he also comes with a unique gun. I thought this one would have been a prime choice for a modern update…

Welcome to the Outpost, today I’m sticking with 3-3/4 inch G.I.Joe characters. Doc was the original medic on the Joe team from 1983. The Original Doc figure came with a stretcher, a flare launcher, and a tan removable helmet that was unique to the other helmets we were used to seeing from 1982. Doc has had a couple upgrades but the best one was the 2008 modern style Doc. This was an upgrade to his original figure and this one was a mail away version. I’m sure this brought back many feelings of growing…

Today I want to get into one of the original G.I.Joe characters and one of my all time favorites, Stalker. This is an awesome character who comes with an extended backstory linked to Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. Stalker was a unique character and the only one to sport camo in the original line up. I had the swivel arm version as a kid that I got second handed so it wasn’t till around 1985 that I got my first Stalker. I did get the 1989 version 2 of him…

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m talking one more tank. The G.I.Joe Cobra H.I.S.S. II. This is one I had as a child and it was one really cool tank. It was a little bit bigger which allowed this to be a tank and a personnel carrier for Cobra. This tank holds 2 in the cockpit, one in the top cannon, and 4+ figures can go in the rear. This was a cool design. Rather then the cockpit opening from the top it opens from the bottom. The cannon is really…
