July 21, 2023July 21, 2023 Serpentorslair Staffaction figures, G.I.Joe, Hasbro0 comment

Story by Mitchell Smith Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at a G.I. Joe figure that my brother had back in the day, but much like most of the early Joe days my brother got it and I had my fair share of playing with it, so I won’t complain. Scrap Iron was one of the early Cobra Villains voiced by Micheal Bell. He was sharpe looking and had a cool missile launcher. He was one of Cobra Commander’s earliest faithful members. Although he did not have…

G.I.JOE UNDERAPPRECATED FEATURING 1991 ‘ECO WARRIORS’!

July 17, 2023July 17, 2023 Serpentorslair Staffaction figures, G.I.Joe, Hasbro0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the 1991 G.I.Joe Eco Warriors. I don’t hear much about Clean-Sweep, Ozone, or Flint, so I’m chalking these up as under appreciated figures. I always thought Air-Tight should have been a part of this group, but maybe he already was a part of this elite group of Joes. It would have been cool to get him with a removable helmet though. I did not have any of these as a kid, but I really liked the look and the removable…

July 10, 2023July 10, 2023 Serpentorslair Staffaction figures, Cobra Commander, G.I.Joe, Hasbro0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at a popular character but a 1994 version that in my opinion is under appreciated. Cobra Commander has always been a fan favorite and the original villain for GI Joe. The 1994 Star Brigade is an awesome version that many passed off as not a good Cobra Commander. Personally 1994 was past my prime but getting this version as an adult was really a great and cool version. I know a lot of people my age who were also well past…

Story by Mitchell Smith Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at one of my favorite G.I. Joe characters in the Joe universe Shipwreck. Shipwreck who is voiced by Neil Ross was an instant hit for me and millions around the world. I remember my 10th birthday going to Ames department store in Saranac Lake to use $10 that I got for my birthday from my grandparents. I vaguely remember a Flint, Airtight and Dusty that I passed on to get Footloose and Shipwreck. I think the biggest…
