The POP-EXPOSE ‘2015 Year in Review’ by Mitchell Smith!

It is Hard to believe I’ve been writing these Pop Expose’s for over a year now. I hope everyone has enjoyed them. Some weeks I think I need an editor but you all get the raw deal. 2015 was a wild and crazy year, its been highlighted by Gay marriage, Black Lives matter, ISIS, and Trump. I try and look back to my previous New Year and see if I did make changes through the year and better my life, the people around me, and/or even a stranger’s life.

People are not perfect and I think it is important to mature from year to year, and when we trip and fall, if we can pick our self up and still look forward and still see a goal to strive for, then I think we are still on the right path. 2015 was a great year for me, I buckled down mid year and decided to move my health in a better direction, by cutting down consumption of everything bad I put into my body and increase everything that would help preserve it. This year I want to push into 2016 with a new attitude, healthier is better. One thing I like to do is look back at the past 12 months and remember some events from each month.

January – Oregon is upset by Ohio in the NCAA Football Championship game. Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks dies at age 83, he played his entire 19 year career with the Chicago cubs.

February – The New England Patriots deflate the Seattle Seahawks to win the Super Bowl . We lost the great Leonard Nimoy.

March – Ferguson police are found guilty of discrimination toward African Americans.

April – Duke Blue Devils defeat Wisconsin in the NCAA basketball finals. James Best, best knows as Rosco P. Coltrane dies at age 88.

May – Brady is found guilty of deflating footballs.

December – The long anticipated wait for Star Wars is over, All the ones who saw it on opening day are happy they were one of the ones who crashed the internet when tickets went on presale.
