THE POP EXPOSE – A Look At The Career of Voice Acting Legend Peter Cullen!

Well hello everyone. Peter Cullen was born July 28th 1941 in Montreal, PQ. His class was the first graduates of the National Theater School of Canada. Of course his most famous roll is Optimus Prime that his brother Larry helped him to creat the voice. Cullen has been the voice in the animated series as well as the live action movies. Cullen has also done many other characters over the years such as his long run as Eeyore, Transformer Ironhide, GI Joe Airborne & Zandar, and also the narrator for Voltron to name a few
He has used his voice in many mornings cartoons like , My Little Pony, Pound Puppies, Rescue Rangers, and TMNT. As many voice actors have said the key to being a good voice actor is being a good actor. I think of some old silent movies were the actors have to act out what they are saying, voice acting is the complete opposite you have to act out what you are saying with just your voice.
