G.I.Joe The POP-EXPOSE

THE POP EXPOSE – G.I. Joe’s ‘Michael Bell’!

Story By Mitchell Smith

Well hello everyone. Today I take a look at G.I.Joe’s Michael Bell, born in 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. Bell started acting in the sixties taking parts in movies and shows like “The Monkey’s “, M.A.S.H., and “Dallas”. Bell found his niche in the mid eighties while voicing 2 of the most popular cartoon characters of the time Bruce Banner and among several G.I.Joes, he is Duke. Bell was also a big part of Rugrats, Batman, and Star Wars Rebels.

He also voiced several characters from Transformers, Smurfs, and Scooby Doo. These are just a few characters Bell has done over the years. He has had the pleasure of working with many other great voice actors such as Neil Ross and Frank Welker over the years. In recent years Bell has done a great amount of work in video game voice acting.

Bell has also been a teacher of voice acting and an inspiration for many people pursuing a career in acting and/or voice acting. Bell is still active today and I can’t wait to see what he does next.
