THE POP EXPOSE ‘Obi Wan Kenobi’ By Mitchell Smith!

Ewan McGregor is slated to be jump back in the Jedi robe and star in some sort of a Disney TV Show or Series about Obi Wan Kenobi. I thought this could be an interesting show, it most likely would take place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Perhaps they would incorporate some of the book Kenobi, written by John Jackson Miller. This was an enjoyable book and brought to life Kenobi’s experiences when he arrived and settled on Tatooine. There was a great amount of detail on Sand People and the development of them and explaining their story would be entertaining. This series could also incorporate Uncle Owen, Aunt Beru, and the upbringing of Luke on the moister farm.

There could definitely be room for some of Luke’s friends who where in the original Story but mostly were cut from the Movie. There could also be some scenes from Tosche Station and maybe even the Mos Eisley Cantina. Further to develop the story of the original trilogy, the beloved gangster Jabba the Hutt and his palace could all be incorporated into a story based on this time frame. Some of the other original actors could be brought into the show such as Joel Edgerton and Bonne Piesse for Owen and Lars. It might be a long shot but perhaps Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover could make an appearance as well. Maybe even a bigger long shot would be Felicity Jones or part of the Rogue one crew showing up for a drink at the Cantina as well.

A while back I thought a spin off of Dr. Evazan and Ponda Boba would be a cool spin off show and a lot of the Star Wars villains could have been used and their back stories told. This would be a perfect platform to tell a little more about some of these characters. I’m not sure what the budget for a show like this would be but if there was a successful first season most or all of these characters could have some significant rolls in the Show. It will be very interesting to me to see how this unfolds and how this story relates to the movies and if any of the Non Canon stuff will be drawn back into the Star Wars Universe. I hope this takes off and Disney can create something special for all the fans to watch.
