THE POP EXPOSE ‘Your Super Bowl Pick’ by Mitchell Smith!

Who are you rooting for in the Super Bowl?

Most people who are not Patriots fans will be rooting for the Eagles today. I was a Patriots fan back in the 1990’s and even went to Giant stadium to watch them play and got Drew Bledsoe’s autograph. Once Brady took over I kind of lost interest and have not been a fan since then. The Super Bowl has held host to some great Quarterbacks. One thing that you can’t take away from Tom Brady is the success he has had at the highest level, he is 5-2 in the Super Bowl and is going for a 6th win tonight. Here are a few Quarterbacks that in Brady’s career he has surpassed in the win/loss column and has now set the bar for future Quarterbacks.

The great Bret Favre of Green Bay Packers is 1-1. Eli Manning of the New York Giants and Bart Star of the Green Bay Packers are both 2-0 in Super Bowl appearances. Troy Aikmen of the Dallas Cowboys is 3-0 and Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers is 2-1. Terry Bradshaw of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Joe Montana of the San Francisco 49ers, who is my all time favorite QB, are both 4-0. Roger Staubach of the Dallas Cowboys and Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts are both 2-2, and we all know about Jim Kelly and the Buffalo Bills 4 straight Super Bowl losses.

John Elway of the Denver Broncos is 2-3 and Brady is next. The 5 win mark will be hard for any future quarterbacks to reach but 6 wins should Brady get it, might just be a mark that will never be reached again. So either way whether you care who wins or loses, or if you love or hate Tom Brady, the bar is set for now and the Patriots seem to be the team everyone wants to beat.

What are your thoughts on tonight’s Super Bowl? Sound off AFTER THE JUMP!
