#14 The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mondo Gecko
Playmates has done an oustanding job of taking classic Ninja Turtles characters from the 80’s and 90’s and revamping them with a modern feel. The new Mondo Gecko figure is one of the best of that group, and may be the best Ninja Turtles figure released this year from Playmates!

#13 S.H. Figuarts DC Comics Injustice Video Game Harley Quinn
If are a fan of Harley Quinn like we are here at Serpentorslair, than the S.H. Figuarts DC Comics Injustice Video Game Harley Quinn was a must have figure in 2015. This figure has that sexy look without sacrificing articulation!

#12 Marvel Legends Walgreens Exclusive Ant-Man
Ant-Man was clearly the best Super Hero movie of 2015, and there were a lot of toys that went along with the film. The one that really stood out to us however, was the Marvel Legends Walgreens Exclusive Ant-Man.

#11 Sideshow Collectibles Premium Format Amazing Spider-Man
Most of the time when you are looking to get a Spider-Man toy for your collection, you are looking for something boasting a ton of articulation. But with the Sideshow Collectibles Premium Format Amazing Spider-Man from 2015, it just looks like it jumps right out of the comics and onto your shelf. No articulation needed!

#9 Transformers Combiner Wars ‘Superion’
This year Hasbro really hit a home run with fans bringing the Combiner Wars Line. And, one of the best offerings in that line was the long awaited return of Autobot, ‘Superion’.

#8 Star Wars Black Series ‘Captain Phasma’
Every Star Wars fan has spent the past several month’s grabbing up everything related to Captain Phasma and Kylo Ren. With the Star Wars Black Series ‘Captain Phasma’ fans were glad to finally get an offering from Hasbro with the level of articulation desired.

#7 Hasbro Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure ‘Hulkbuster’
Even though the Avengers: Age of Ultron was not as exciting as many had hoped, one of the strong points of the film was the
‘Hulkbuster’ Iron Man. And if you wanted to bring that home to your toy shelf, the Hasbro Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure ‘Hulkbuster’ was the figure to have!

#6 Hasbro Marvel Legends Bulid-A-Figure ‘Hobgoblin’
Just one notch above the Hulkbuster was the Marvel Legends Bulid-A-Figure ‘Hobgoblin’ figure. Hasbro finally has given fans the menacing version of Hobgoblin that we have wanted for a long time!

#5 Transformers Combiner Wars ‘Menasor’
The Autobots had ‘Superion’ this year, and of course we had to have the Stunticons to oppose him and form ‘Menasor’! This is in our opinion, the second best offering that Hasbro had in the Transformers line this year, and a must have for Transformers Collectors.

#4 Neca’s 7″ Adam West Classic Batman Figure
Neca really hit the ball out of the park with their classic DC figures this year. And, although there have bee a few Adam West Batman figures made recently, the Neca 7″ Adam West Classic Batman that came out in 2015 made it to #4 on our best figures list.

#3 Gentle Giant 12″ Snake Eyes Figure
While we were hesitant to rank anything G.I.Joe this highly due to the fact that the overall popularity of the brand has vastly diminished, we had to acknowledge the nostalgic value of the Gentle Giant 12″ Snake Eyes figure. If you are looking for a great display piece to remind you of one of the most iconic characters from the 1980’s you had to have this offering.

#2 Neca’s 7″ Christopher Reeve Superman
We had a really hard time deciding whether or not Neca’s 7″ Christopher Reeve Superman should have been #1 but in the end we found one other toy that slightly edged it out. But, make no mistake, this was by far our favorite ‘human’ action figure of 2015!

Image

#1 Transformers Combiner Wars ‘Devastator’
Notice how we said that the Christopher Reeve Superman was our favorite ‘human’ action figure? Well, that is because the Transformers Combiner Wars ‘Devastator’ smoked all of the competition this year. Hasbro, not a third party company, actually made an action figure that the fans wanted, and made it to the level that satisfied the fans. And you definitely could not have had a line with ‘Combiners’ without the father of them all ‘Devastator’!
