G.I. JOE UNDERAPPRECIATED FEATURING 1994 ‘FLINT’!

Serpentorslair Staff, , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at a G.I.Joe figure that I think is under underappreciated, the 1994 version of Flint. 1985 was a great year and there were a lot of great figures this year. One figure got quite a few versions but this v4 1994 version of Flint seems to be forgotten. This is not one I had as a kid but it is a really cool version. If you are not a fan of the oversized spring projectiles, put that aside along with all…

Serpentorslair Staff, , 0 comment

Story By Mitchell Smith Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the 1985 G.I. Joe Transportable Tactical Battle Platform. I did not have this as a kid and this was probably a bit overlooked because of another large vehicle that year the Flagg. However this is a really cool play set and there are a ton of features and play value along with a nice display value for those who may want to display a wide range of figures and vehicles. I have a few decks now…

Serpentorslair Staff, , , , , , 0 comment

Story By Mitchell Smith Hello everyone, today I am taking a look back at some of my favorite 1985-1986 action figures including ‘RAMBO‘. Back in the day G.I. Joe was booming, Transformers were booming, Star Wars was on a simmer and everyone else and their brother were trying to get in on the action figure action. There was some real cool figures I remember from Marvel’s Doc Oct to Mr. T from the A-Team. Some of my all time favorite figures were the Marchon M-Force figures that seemed to be…

G.I. Joe Underappreciated Featuring ‘CROSS-COUNTRY’!

Serpentorslair Staff, , 0 comment

Story By Mitchell Smith Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at a G.I. Joe figure and character that I think is underrated . 1985 was or is the hey day for G.I. Joe for many people, but for me the ultimate haul was in 1986. Many may have heard my Night Raven story where I was very disappointed not getting one, but and a big but my mother made it up to me at Christmas. I got many figure and vehicles from this year including the HAVOC…
