Serpentorslair Staff, , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m checking out a G.I. Joe vehicle that was overshadowed in 1986, the L.C.V. Recon Sled. 1986 posted some awesome vehicles such as the Night Raven, Stun, and Devilfish, along with the Havoc, Conquest, and Tomahawk. Also Cobra finally got a base the very cool Terror Drome. One small vehicle got the old stiff arm this year though. The 1986 L.C.V. Recon Sled is one I had as a kid and was featured in a couple episodes. Right from the time I opened this one…

G.I. JOE UNDERAPPRECIATED FEATURING ‘RAVEN’!

Serpentorslair Staff, , , , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m checking out a G.I.Joe character from 1986 that I’m going to consider at least for me personally, the most underrated character in the franchise, ‘Raven‘. This female character was featured in episode 29 “In the Presence of Mine Enemies.” After a dogfight with Slip-Stream both he and Raven end up on an island with an abandoned Dr Mindbender lab. Well some B.A.T.’s and a monster remained there and the 2 are forced to work together to escape the island alive. In the end Raven…

G.I. JOE UNDERAPPRECIATED FEATURING ‘SCOOP’!

Serpentorslair Staff, , 0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m checking out A G.I. Joe character from 1989, Scoop. Scoop was a figure I had as a kid and was one of my favorites. Some might think he is not Joe material because he holds a video camera instead of a rifle, but he proved himself various times in the cartoon. He was working as a spy for Cobra when he learned Cobra had lied to him and joined the Joes. Recently I’ve been watching the WWII documentary “Five Came Back”. The footage they…
