MY FAVORITE G.I.JOE FROM 1986 – STORY BY MITCHELL SMITH!

Welcome to the Outpost. Many G.I. Joe fans feel 85 was the hey day for the franchise. I love 85, but 1986 was the first year I got figures and vehicles that were mine. Even though my brother and I always shared it was still nice to say this one is mine. My older brother bought Wet-Suit on a trip to Canada that year. For Christmas I got Serpentor, Thrasher, and Low-Light. My brothers also got Sci-Fi, Motor Viper, and Lift-Ticket. Over all we got almost every figure and vehicle…

G.I.Joe ‘Doctor Mindbender’ Discussion by Mitchell Smith!

Welcome to the Outpost, today I’m going to talk about one of my favorite Cobra characters, Dr. Mindbender. Dr. Mindbender was a favorite of mine and I first got him for Christmas in 1986. Another unique creation with his purple pants, bald head, and black cape always made him stand out to me. He was a huge part of the G.I.Joe cartoon so he was really easy to fall in love with because he had a lot of focus on him. The mad scientist trying to create ultimate soldiers, among all the other pretty weird…

THE POP-EXPOSE ‘G.I.Joe Dr. Mindbender’ by Mitchell Smith!

Dr. Mindbender was one of the coolest Cobras from my childhood. I really like is look and it started right from his first appearance in the cartoon and when I received this figure for Christmas. I loved how they developed him and his curious appetite for history and resurrecting some of the most ruthless villains in history. He played a huge part in G.I. Joe: The Movie and quickly became one of my all time favorite characters.  The original action figure was made so fine just like many of the original figures were…
