Story By Mitchell Smith Hello everyone, today we look back at the amazing career of Tim McCarver. He was born in 1941 in Memphis Tennessee. McCarver played the catcher position and would win 2 World Series with the St Louis Cardinals. He played minor league ball at my neighbor the Rochester Redwings and in 1959 at the age of 17 signed with the Cardinals. His career would last till 1980 and he went into broadcasting right after.
