G.I.Joe 1973 ‘Jeep’ Discussion by Mitchell Smith!

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m rolling back the time dial to my childhood and my first G.I.Joe Jeep. This was a we bit before the 1982 figures came out so yes it’s my first jeep and it’s 12 inch style. Made in 1973 by the Carolina Enterprise company this is one great vehicle. I’m sure many of you have heard the story about my grandparents having 12 inch Joes so my love for GI Joe started at an early age for me. I was around 3 or 4 when I could push the jeep and there was nothing more fun then loading up the jeep with my goods and eventually figures and driving around the house with them. It created many hours of fun and paved the future for me as a die hard Joe fan.

The blue jeep is the one I had as a kid and it looks really great with these classic style Joes. The green jeep is one I found recently that the guy gave to me so it was really cool getting this. As you can see this one looks great with some ARAH style 12 inch Joes loaded up and ready to take out some Cobra’s. Overall these hold a personal connection for me but even if I did not have these as a kid they are really nice solid jeeps and look good in any dio I come up with.

I hope to get out side and snap some cool pics but for now you will have to fantasize lol. Did anyone have one of these as a kid? Is anyone else into the 12 inch style? Sound off below and let us know! Make sure to check back for our next discussion.
