G.I.Joe ‘Alpine’ Discussion By Mitchell Smith!

Welcome to the Outpost. Summer is quickly coming to a close and things are getting busy again. So I’m getting back to a fan favorite G.I.Joe character that was in a lot of the animated episodes and has been a staple character over the years, ‘Alpine‘. Alpine is part of the “hey day” 1985 lineup. The mountaineer was a character I could relate to growing up in the high peak mountains.

Alpine was one I did not have as a kid but he had a really cool and unique look. From the hat to the pick axe, Alpine was a grand slam. Alpine had a few versions and the 2008 version is a beautiful version of the original. I wished Hasbro would make more solid 25th versions like him, but we all know the direction they took.

Overall Alpine is one character that probably gets pushed to the back a little bit he has always been one of my favorites. I would definitely love to see a modern 6 inch Alpine. Who is an Alpine fan?
