‘G.I.Joe Desert Fox’ Discussion By Mitchell Smith!
Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the 1988 G.I.Joe Desert Fox. This is one vehicle I don’t hear much about, but it is an awesome desert vehicle. I did not have one of these as a kid so I look at this one from a collector’s point of view. This is a classic looking vehicle with a bit of a modern spin. The front of the vehicle has a standard driver and passenger seat with a nice classic looking front hood. The back really is what makes this vehicle pop.
The first noticeable thing about the back are the 4 wheels which makes this a 6 wheeler. Next is the top mount gun and side missiles. This is a really cool gun and I think the orange missiles work on this vehicle. Finally there is the rear seat which holds a figure and has a control panel. This is a cool station in my opinion because this can be used to control the missiles, as well as radar, navigation, and any other sophisticated instruments you may want in this station.
A lot of people don’t like the drivers name but I think Skidmark is a nice looking figure and if I was driving really fast and slammed on the brakes then his name makes sense. Over all this is one of the coolest vehicles and this is one that I love and I’m glad I have one in my collection. Who likes the Desert Fox? MAKE THE JUMP to the forums and let us know.
