MY FAVORITE G.I.JOE FROM 1991 – STORY BY MITCHELL SMITH!

Welcome to the Outpost. 1991 was the first year since 1982 that my brothers and I didn’t get something G.I. Joe. So it wasn’t till around 2015 when I bought a collection that had pretty much every figure from 1990 to 1994 in it that I got a figure from this time frame. It was a whole new world for me and I had not payed much attention to the nineties stuff so there were many new characters and many new versions of characters I had grown up with. There are a few cool sub groups like Eco Warriors, Sonic Fighters, and Air Commandos.

There is a really cool Hawk, Low-Light, and Mercer. Red Star, Dusty, and Grunt were all cool Joes as well. Crimson Immortal, Desert Scorpion , and Snow Serpents were a few cool Cobra figures. The figure I like best is Sci-Fi. I always loved the original and I loved that this version had a removable helmet. Not only could I see his face but I could also swap it out with the original version. Sci-Fi also came with some pretty cool gear. Overall I think this was still a solid year with new characters and some cool versions of characters we already had. Who is your favorite 1991 character? Please post in the comments and let us know!
