Read MoreApache Warrior is a 2017 Netflix documentary about the 2003 Apache mission into Baghdad. This was a wild show going into the Apache helicopter and following them on their mission. To start out the Apache is one badass helicopter. This show talks to the men and women who trained to be pilots and follows their mission into Baghdad to give air support to a team on the ground. I guess I never realized how intense the helicopter missions are. I always thought the jets did all the air strikes, but this gave me…

Read MoreWelcome to the Outpost. Hope everyone is doing well. Today I’m stepping outside the G.I.Joe universe to see if anyone had these military figures growing up. In the mid 80s there were lots of military based movies like Delta Force, Rambo, and Missing in Action. This lead to a lot of Military based toys from movies. The Marchon M Force didn’t have a cartoon or a movie, but fed off other action figure lines such as Rambo. Much like the Rambo figures there was not a lot of articulation, but there was…

Read More2003 G.I.Joe Built to Rule Armadillo Assault! Welcome to the outpost. Today I’m taking a look at a vehicle I never had, the G.I.Joe Built To Rule Armadillo Assault. It looks interesting and I’m wondering what everyone thinks about this line as a whole. I do have a few of the figures I’ve found loose over the years and they don’t look to bad. I was able to find a couple videos on this one in particular, and I thought this was a pretty cool idea. From what I gather this…

Read MoreHope everyone is doing well and staying safe out there. Tomax and Xamot have always been 2 of my favorite G.I.Joe characters. The original characters had a unique uniform, gun, and the sky hook was awesome. I didn’t get these as a kid, but my brother got them for his birthday. I’m pretty sure I played with them way more than he did. I took some string and made an extra long line for them to zip down. I still have the heads and a couple legs but these were played with…

Read MoreThe 1992 G.I.Joe Sonic Fighters Desert Apache helicopter was a pretty cool helicopter and had a likeness to the real Apache helicopter. This is not one I had as a kid and it is not one I have ever had a chance to have in hand, but it looks pretty cool. I like the color and the overall look of this helicopter. The attachable joystick arm in the back is a cool feature and has some sound effects which as a 12 year old would have been awesome. Image Courtesy of @HCC788…

Read MoreToday I’m going to take a look at another 1995 G.I.Joe launch, and much like the G.I.Joe Extreme line, it only lasted that year. As you probably know I’m speaking about the SGT. Savage line. Another line I may not have bought at retail, but I purchased these in a collection and was pleased when I found these. 1995 was during my college days so I was running around getting drunk and chasing girls, so this was a line I knew nothing about until I acquired these by chance. There wasn’t many characters in this line,…
