Read MoreToday we look at G.I. Joe Short-Fuze. He is listed as “Artillery” for PMS and “Infantry Engineer” for SMS. What is interesting is there is not the usual longer space between “Infantry” and “Engineer” like what you see on other other OG13 filecards in regards to SMS. It most likely was a printing error but provided it is not then an “Infantry Engineer” would be in all cases a Combat Engineer (12B MOS). It lists Engineer School further in his filecard. Provided Short-Fuze started his Army career as a Combat…

Read MoreWelcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at a G.I. Joe vehicle that I feel is under appreciated. In 1993 G..I Joe was on a hard slide. There were several factors contributing to it, but Hasbro still had a few cool vehicles that nobody seems to talk about. The 1984 WHALE is one of the best water vessels with so many features and so many memories in the cartoons, but another good size water vessel with lots of room for Joes is the Shark 9000 with v3 Cutter.…

Read MoreG.I. Joe’s Cobra Commander is listed as “Intelligence” for his PMS and “Ordnance, Experimental Weaponry” as his SMS. Yes it should be “Ordnance” and not “Ordinance” as the two have different meanings. Cobra Commander relies on revolutions and chaos in order to control the world. States he has led uprisings in the Middle-East and Southeast Asia and other troubled spots. Responsible for kidnapping scientists, military leaders and businessmen.
