G.I. JOE UNDERAPPRECIATED FEATURING THE ‘SHARK 9000’!

October 9, 2023October 9, 2023 Serpentorslair Staffaction figures, G.I.Joe, Hasbro0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at a G.I. Joe vehicle that I feel is under appreciated. In 1993 G..I Joe was on a hard slide. There were several factors contributing to it, but Hasbro still had a few cool vehicles that nobody seems to talk about. The 1984 WHALE is one of the best water vessels with so many features and so many memories in the cartoons, but another good size water vessel with lots of room for Joes is the Shark 9000 with v3 Cutter.…

Part 1: Roots in Georgia In the picturesque town of Athens, nestled in the heart of Georgia, there lived a family that would one day produce one of the most formidable members of the G.I. Joe team. Shana O’Hara, known to the world as Scarlett, was born into this family on a cool autumn day in 1970. The O’Hara clan was a proud one, known throughout the community for their martial arts studio and unwavering dedication to discipline and honor. G.I. JOE INSIDE THE FILE CARDS FEATURING “COBRA COMMANDER”!

October 3, 2023October 3, 2023 Serpentorslair Staffaction figures, Cobra, Cobra Commander, G.I.Joe, Hasbro, Marvel0 comment

G.I. Joe’s Cobra Commander is listed as “Intelligence” for his PMS and “Ordnance, Experimental Weaponry” as his SMS. Yes it should be “Ordnance” and not “Ordinance” as the two have different meanings. Cobra Commander relies on revolutions and chaos in order to control the world. States he has led uprisings in the Middle-East and Southeast Asia and other troubled spots. Responsible for kidnapping scientists, military leaders and businessmen. So the fact that “Intelligence” is listed as a military specialty and he has led uprisings in various parts of the world…

G.I. JOE UNDERAPPRECIATED FEATURING THE “RAIDER”!

October 2, 2023October 2, 2023 Serpentorslair Staffaction figures, G.I.Joe, Hasbro0 comment

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at a 1989 G.I. JOE vehicle that I feel is under appreciated the Raider. The Raider with Hot Seat is a really cool vehicle that I never hear anything about. Looking over the years a lot of the vehicles did not get a modern version. Maybe the originals are solid enough Hasbro felt they didn’t need to update them as many of the modern figures did fit the original vehicles. The Raider is featured in the opening credits of the miniseries…

Shipwreck’s Journal Entry #2 – Memories of Mara Revisited Avast, me hearties! It’s been a while since I put pen to paper, but today’s a day that begs for a new entry in the log. G.I. JOE STORIES – “Zarana’s Initiation”!

September 25, 2023September 25, 2023 Serpentorslair StaffCobra, Dreadnoks, G.I.Joe, Hasbro, Zarana, Zartan0 comment

Zarana had always been a wild spirit. Growing up, she had felt like an outsider, a rebel with no cause. That was until she met her older brother Zartan, the enigmatic master of disguise who would change her life forever. Now, she stood at the precipice of her initiation into the criminal Dreadnok biker gang, and the tasks before her were nothing short of daunting. The moon hung low in the night sky, casting eerie shadows over the decrepit factory where the Dreadnoks had made their headquarters. Zarana’s heart pounded…

G.I. JOE UNDERAPPRECIATED FEATURING “Fast-Draw”!

September 24, 2023September 25, 2023 Serpentorslair Staffaction figures, G.I.Joe, Hasbro0 comment

Story by Mitchell Smith Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at a G.I. Joe figure from 1987, Fast Draw. In my opinion this is an under appreciated figure. I had Fast Draw as a kid and this was a cool unique figure back in the day. He has 2 missiles ready to fire at his target. Maybe not the most realistic military concept, but I love the futuristic concept figures. This color scheme is unique and I could have seen him sliding into the Slaughters Marauders lineup…

Part 1: The Baroness Rises Anastasia DeCobray was born into a world of privilege and excess. The spoiled offspring of European aristocrats, she grew up in opulent castles and attended the finest schools money could buy. But beneath her luxurious facade, a restlessness simmered within her. Anastasia yearned for something more than the life of decadence that had been laid out for her. Her journey into radicalism began in the hallowed halls of an Ivy League university. Surrounded by like-minded students who decried the injustices of the world, Anastasia found…
