Read MoreWelcome to the Outpost. Today I’m looking at the 1984 G.I.Joe Slugger. This is an iconic vehicle and was used frequently in the early cartoon. This is a bad ass 6 wheeled tank and it is one of my favorite vehicles I never had as a kid. There were 2 updates a solid green and a tan that I do not own. I do have 3 originals with the gun so I’m pretty happy about that. This one is just an awesome vehicle that is simple but packs a big…

Read MoreWelcome to the Outpost. Today I’m looking at a 1984 G.I.Joe character that came on stage took the show and never looked back, ‘Storm Shadow‘. Storm Shadow is one of those characters who was created and the stories and history exploded around him. I’m not sure if the creators had any idea of what they wanted to do as far as the grand scheme or if they were just creating a really cool looking ninja. Storm Shadow has been a staple character in the cartoon, comics, and live action movies.…

This is a character that was never in the movies or any of the cartoons but was a character from the comics. I came across him at GameStop and thought the packaging was really cool. Cool enough to make me pick it up and say to myself ok even after seeing pictures and videos of this figure I was still impressed at the look of the figure and…

I’m sure many of you have heard the story about my grandparents having 12 inch Joes so my love for GI Joe started at an early age for me. I was around 3 or 4 when…

Read MoreWelcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at one of the great original G.I.Joe Figures, ‘Stalker‘. Stalker is one of the original 1982 characters and has had several versions since then. I think one thing everyone will agree on is the Hasbro GI Joe team was awesome at creating a second version of a figure that rivaled the original. Stalker V2 is one of the many that is pure gold. I had V2 as a kid and this one is awesome head to toe and the kayak is…
