Today my discussion is on three of my favorite modern G.I.Joe figures. In the modern era line there were a great deal of upgrades on most of my favorite Joes. There were 3 figures all together I found in a mad hunt and they are the last 3 figures I bought at retail, Lifeline, Airtight, and Sci-Fi. These are 3 of my favorite figures and I was sad the direction Hasbro took on selling action figures because I missed out on so many of my favorite characters. First off Lifeline was an awesome upgrade, I…

Welcome to the outpost. Today I’m looking at some modern G.I.Joes. The 2008, set number 10, comic 2 pack featured the Hard Master and Snake Eyes apprentice. I never was into the comics as a kid and I think it was mostly because they were not readily available in the small town I grew up in, but I got into them a little, well at least reading them when they released the comic packs in 2008. They released a huge amount of awesome comic 2 packs this year and the Hard Master pack was one…

Welcome to the outpost. Today I’m going to jump back to 1982 and a G.I.Joe character that I feel hasn’t gotten enough love over the years, Short-Fuze. Short-Fuze is one of my favorite original characters. The 2005 version was cool and he got a pair of shades to bring a bit…

1994 Star Brigade Aliens I was a high school senior in 1994 and was not in tune with the G.I.Joe world at the time, Later on as a collector I discovered some great figures. Space Shot, Gears, and Sci-Fi are some of my favorites from this year. There are 3 characters that were very much unlike the rest though, the Aliens. These were somewhat odd I guess in a military based toy, but I thought the first time I saw them that they were pretty cool. Carcass is the first of the trio. He…
