G.I. Joe Classified – Duke
There are lots of reviews of the 2020 G.I. Joe Classified series available. This is just a brief overview that may help answer some of your questions. If you have more questions, post them in this thread, and I’ll do my best to respond and add a picture if it is helpful.
First off, here is my Duke, still in his package.
And if you want to leave him in there to keep him safe, that is perfectly fine.
I photograph figures in action, so I’ll show a few details. Actually, I think I’ll let Duke tell you.
“Here I am, after escaping from a plastic prison. I need to stretch and breathe a little. Now I will get ready to see what I can do.”
“First off, I need to go to the pistol range to renew my small arms qualification. We can never be too prepared!”
Then he discovers the lever to the range isn’t working to return his target for inspection.
“No matter, I will use my optic rangefinder to see that I hit a few bulls-eyes.”
“Now that I’ve taken care of that, I need to secure my optics on my web belt. There, that will keep them safe.”
“My rifle is a bit futuristic, but that doesn’t bother me a bit. It fits in my hands, and sends a world o’ hurt toward the enemy.”
Note: Good lighting can make things look however you want them to.
“Well, it’s time to get my backpack ready for a mission. There is great sculpted detail on the pack and the entrenching tool. Also, check out the sculpting on my hair. It appears to be mostly blonde, with a little bit of a brown wash to it so your eyes can see the texture.”
“Oh, did I forget anything?”
He has great neck and head articulation.
Also, some people might speak ill of his shin-guards. But upon closer inspection, there are sculpted in divots where enemy fire was deflected.
“Boot leather would have done me little good on THAT mission.”
And speaking of boots, he has small hexagonal holes in his boot heels for a figure stand…or dare we hope: a vehicle??
I hope this helped answer some of your questions.
“Thanks for your help, narrator guy. I’m a Real American Hero! But shh, that’s Classified!”
“But I can share this photo from a secret mission where I helped another American Hero. Cap may be older than I am, but I’m always glad to stand by his side to defend human freedom…wherever there’s trouble.”
And “Now You Know” a little bit more about G.I. Joe Classified: Duke.
Feel free to ask questions. I’ll do my best to respond to any questions when you MAKE THE JUMP to the forums.
