We announced earlier this year that Super7 would be offering a new line of G.I. Joe figures coming in the fall of 2024 with the same body construction you remember from the G.I. Joe’s you played with in the 1980s. Now the first pre-production images of those figures are hitting the web, and the excitement is palpable. In these early images we see Tomax and Xamot in their classic cartoon business suits, and we get at look at Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander, B.A.T. and Cover Girl, as she appeared in…

Story by Mitchell Smith Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m rolling it make to a troubled time in the GI Joe world. It was a transitional time in my life as well. I was in college and I pledged a fraternity which led me to meeting many different people and having many different experiences I probably would not have had otherwise. One person led me half way across the state and built a family with me. Similar to my trying times GI Joe took a completely different route from their…

I know anyone who grew up with early GI Joe and Cobra vehicles got to enjoy awesome vehicles. As time went on some vehicles well, got made a bit cheap. The Rat is one of these vehicles that had a great concept but just was not built right. So first off if you have never watched the commercial for…

Welcome to The Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the GI Joe Playset Alpha Check Point. I think we can all agree this is an awesome piece to set up and make some cool dioramas with. This is not one I had as a kid but always admired. It is simple yet complex. Anyone who had the 1983 GI Joe base certainly loved this as an entrance to base.
