These figures bring to life one of the wildest moments from the 1985 G.I. Joe cartoon, where Zartan and his gang went undercover as a Cobra-funded rock band in an attempt to brainwash the masses.

Featured in the episode “Cold Slither” from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Cobra hatches a bizarre yet brilliant plan to hypnotize America’s youth through subliminal messages hidden in heavy metal music. To pull it off, they enlist Zartan and the Dreadnoks—Buzzer, Ripper, and Torch—to pose as rock stars in full glam-metal attire, complete with studded leather, torn shirts, and spiked hair.
The result? One of the most iconic and absurd moments in G.I. Joe history—Zartan belting out lyrics like “We’re Cold Slither, you’ll be joining us soon!” while his band shreds on guitar.
