Hello everyone. I had a chance to relax this weekend and sat back with a few episodes of the classic 80s TV series The A-Team. I grew up watching this show and sometimes I wonder were the shows that good back then or did we just not have anything else to watch? This is a great show and it has been many years since I watched it, so to answer my own question yes the shows were that good. I watched “Where is the Monster When You Need Him?”, a…

Hello everyone. Many times I’m remembering stars who have passed but today I’m going to talk about one who reached a milestone. Barbara Eden best known for playing Jeannie in the hit sitcom “I Dream of Jeannie”, which ran from 1965-1970. The show was before my time but I grew up on a steady diet of reruns of the show. Eden was born I Arizona but moved…

Hello everyone. Today I’m rolling back the dial to 1994. This was a great year for me. I was a senior in high school we did a high peaks climb and 8 out of my graduating class went to New Orleans for the week. Then I started college in the fall and that would change my life forever. 1994 also posted a little gem called Street Fighter. I’m not sure if this was the first live action movie based on a video game but I think it was one of…

Hello everyone. Bobby Bowden was born in 1929 in Alabama. Bowden had an illness at age 13 and was bed ridden for nearly a year. There he found a love for WWII reports and college football via radio. Bowden went on to play football for the University of Alabama and would not make the pros but instead went into coaching. A niche for Bowden as he climbed the ranks and landed head coach at Florida State in 1976. There Bowden would turn a poor team around and for the next…

Hello everyone. This week I’m taking a look at one of the places I checked out while on vacation last week. St Augustine FL is an interesting place and one I frequently visit while I’m in Florida. I was wandering around with the kids and they brought me to the Medievel Torture Museum. An interesting place to say the least that displayed many cruel methods of torture from our worlds past. From the guillotine, to witches, and cutting off limbs this museum gave me the chills several times as I…

Hello everyone. It has been a long time coming but we finally are getting the 2020 Olympics from Tokyo. I love the Olympics and among the few sports added this year there is surfing, Karate, and skateboarding. Tony Hawk was on board to talk about the sport and how the judges would be scoring. I love seeing some water polo and track and field events. Not to take away from swimming, diving, or any of the team sports. Gymnastics has always been a favorite of mine. Popularized by the 1992…

Good morning everybody. Black Widow is finally released to theaters and Disney+. It has been a long time coming and this is another awesome Marvel movie. I love Black Widow and may or may not have a slight crush on Scarlett Johansson but this origin story really brings a lot of meat to the character. This is action packed from start to finish and even the slow parts where they are explained Natasha’s past really ramp up quick. There are twists and turns and the whole movie flew right by.…

The story takes place in Mystic Connecticut where I was supposed to go on a 6th grade class trip to but for some reason my parents didn’t let me go. Mystic is a small fishing town and this is…

It’s much different then Wandavision that focused on more of the mystical aspect of the Marvel franchise. This series focuses more on the political and practical side. It took a couple episodes to get into it but it got good quick. I love…
