THE POP EXPOSE ‘The Fans’ by Mitchell Smith!

The past year has been challenging to say the least. Our lives have been turned upside down from top to bottom. The sports world took a huge hit as events were cancelled. It was a strange time not filling out an NCAA Basketball bracket as our country began to shut down. Slowly we were able to get things going again but with no fans in the stands. Many sports were very strange with no fans in the stands but there was some crowd noise piped in to make it feel more normal.…

The POP-EXPOSE ‘Dennis Rodman’ By Mitchell Smith!

Dennis Rodman has been in the spotlight in recent years. Most may remember him from his wild days with the Chicago Bulls. Dennis has always been a unique individual. He has become very popular in my world and I’ve been tracking down some good stuff from him. Recently there was an ESPN 30 for 30 film done on Dennis and although I have not watched this yet I can’t…

THE POP EXPOSE ‘Missing Baseball’ by Mitchell Smith!

Hello everybody, say goodbye to May and hello to June. I’m not sure how many but I assume a lot of us are missing professional sports. So I thought it would be fun to put together my fantasy team to play a game or 2 of baseball. There are many great catchers and names like Johnny Bench, Carlton Fisk, and Pudge Rodriguez come to mind but I’m going with the all time great and legend Yogi Berra. Berra had 10 World Series with the Yankees and his name is one…

Back in 1979 Herb Brooks started to put together a team to compete in the 1980 Olympics. The team consisted of a number of great players, but some of the hockey superstars were cut from the team. Brooks had a strange way of collaborating the players he wanted to bring home a medal for the United States. I the end his way proved to be a miraculous insight to winning a gold medal for the US. 1980, the Olympic arena lay set just on the outskirts of the Adirondack high…

THE POP EXPOSE ‘Mike Tyson vs Tyson Fury’ by Mitchell Smith!

Not sure if anyone caught the Wilder vs Fury boxing match last weekend, but Tyson Fury tore up Wilder and things ended in the 7th round with the towel being tossed into the ring. This was the second match up between the 2 with the first being a draw. There has not been many great heavyweight match ups lately so I thought it would be interesting to transport back to the 80’s. Mike Tyson is one of the greatest boxers of all time. In his early career it normally did…

THE POP EXPOSE ‘College Football 2019’ By Mitchell Smith!

NCAA 2019 football season is here. Can anyone beat Clemson this year? Right now the top 20 looks solid this year with a lot of notoriously big schools in the top 20. I have high hopes for my Syracuse Orange and they play Clemson week 3 at the Dome which is currently under construction getting a new fixed roof. This should be a interesting match up. Syracuse always seems to play Clemson tight and after last year when Lawrence got knocked out of the game early Syracuse was one play…
